７ヵ月も後半になって、離乳食も食べる量が多くなりました。今日はおうどんにチャレンジしました。昨日まで全部丸飲みごっくんしかできなくて、｢モグモグするんだよ。｣って何度も目の前でモグモグして見せたりしてもごっくんって飲んでたのに、今日いきなり、ジュリはおうどんを何度もモグモグしてからごっくん。そして｢マミィ、わたしね、本当はモグモグできるんだよ～！」って感じににっこり。今日も成長を発見して感激した母でした。
今日のお洋服はカナダでグランマが買ってくれたもの。
向こうの服ってとにかくカラフル。ジュリに服を買ってあげたいとグランマがお店に連れてってくれたので、中では地味な方だったこれを選びました。パープルってかわいい！明るい色、暗い色、いろんな色をジュリに着て色を楽しんで欲しいと思っています。いつか｢この色着たい！」ってどんな色を選ぶのか今からとっても楽しみです。

Juliett had some pieces of noodle for the first time today. She enjoyed munching them with no teeth.
These outfits are from Grandma and Grandpa.
We don't see so many purple outfits for babies in Japan. Pink, cream, red, white, and blue are common. I was so glad when Grandma and I found these outfits at a department store. What a lovely color!
I want Juliett wear various colors and know lots of colors. I look forward to the day Juliett would say, "Mommy, I want to wear this color!"

That will be exciting when Juliett can talk and tell you what she wants to wear and what her favorite color is. Purple looks good on her! Riley has always been happy with whatever I give her to wear, but Emma is more particular. Some clothes she just doesn't like and refuses to wear while others are her favorites. She also prefers to wear a dress or skirt. Plus she doesn't want to wear blue!
That is interesting! Emma doesn't wear blue? Maybe blue is more boyish color than pink.
I remember that I loved dark green so much when I was in grade 10 and I always asked mom to get me dark green socks, t-shirts, shorts,... I don't know why I liked the color so much.
Sometimes color shows your mind. I heard that when I was a little girl, I tended to use purple crayons to draw pictures while my dad was abroad on business. Purple or blue sometimes means lonely. I like to learn about colors!
