市の７ヵ月検診に行ってきました。たくさんの１１月、１２月生まれの赤ちゃんがいたけれど、どうみてもジュリは大きい．．．髪型がかわいいとたくさん声をかけてもらいました。さて、身長は70.8cm、そして体重は8,800g！母子手帳の女の子用グラフの標準値でも特に身長がかなり上の方で、これはダディに似て大きくなるぞと確信したのでした。
検診会場でストローでドリンクを飲んでるべビーを発見。聞いてみると、「哺乳瓶を嫌うのでストローであげてみたらけっこうっすんなり吸って飲めた」とのこと。早速試してみました～。ちょっと飲めてた感じ。でも苦手な麦茶が口に入ってきたので拒否。柔らかいストローをがじがじして楽しんでました。まだ早いかなぁ。
ばぁばと電話中のジュリ。ばぁばが｢ジュリちゃん、ジュリちゃん」と呼びかけるのに対してジュリは「あーあーうー。」とお返事していました。お話がとっても大好きです。Juliett had her 7 months checkup today. She is 70.8cm and 8800g now. It was held at the city health center and there were lots of 7 months babies there. Many moms said she was a big girl with cute curly hair. I am sure she will be a tall girl like her Daddy!
Juliett loves talking. When I was talking with my mom on the phone, she wanted to grab the handset, so I passed it to her and mom called her name few times, Juliett cooed into the phone! It was funny.

Talking on the phone, already! It looks like she has a good grip on it! I am hiding in the basement on the computer because it is too hot in the rest of the house. I hope you get some relief from the heat over there. Do you have air conditioning?
Is it so hot in Canada? Wow.
Yes, we have an air conditioner and we use it every evening. Without it, Juliett needs to change her sweaty clothes 3 or 4 times a day.
