ジュリ、歩きました～！すごい勢いでタタタタタっと約1.5メートル。
１回できると楽しくてしょうがない様子。30分以上ダディとマミィの間を行ったり来たり。しまいには自分で座っている状態から立ち上がって歩いたりも。
でも、歩き方がぐでんぐでんの酔っ払いベビーみたいでかなりおもしろい。(なんて記念すべき初めてのあんよに言っちゃかわいそうかな。）
主人も私も大爆笑でした。
先日、じぃじとばぁばに会いに行った時にすごく楽しそうに歩く練習して自信がついたのかな。それから数日でぐぐっと距離が伸びました。
もうすぐ手をつないで歩けるんだね、と思うと感激。
Juliett walked for about 2m today.
She seemed like she enjoyed walking by herself and she wanted to keep doing again and again.
Last Saturday, she practiced walking at my parents house and she loved it so much, maybe that gave her confidence. I am so happy to see her growth, I look forward to walking with her while holding her hands.
小田原に買い物に行ったついでに小田原城へ寄りました。前に来た時にはフラミンゴとかもいたけれど、城址公園内にある小さな小さな動物園はぞうとさる、りすざるしかいませんでした。
ジュリにとっては初めての大きな動物。指をさしたり、もごもご言ったりしながら見ていました。
さるにはベビーちゃんがいて、お母さんざるにくっついててとってもかわいかった。
でも、広場の真ん中にはたった１頭のぞう。なんだかかわいそうでたまらなかった。

She's walking!! How exciting! You did a good job of capturing it in the photo. Has she been falling a lot while trying to walk? It looks like you visited a zoo. Is it close to where you live.

Yes, she is walking. She falls a lot, but she likes to practice, I think. She claps her hands to herself.
We went to a castle which is in next prefecture. The castle park has a tiny zoo that only has an elephant, and some monkeys. It was the first time for Juliett to see a big animal. She pointed to the elephant and talked. We are thinking to visit a big zoo next time.
We had a membership at the Calgary Zoo for the last few years. The kids love going and it's wonderful to have such an awesome facility so close to us. It's easy to go for an hour or two and leave before the kids get too tired. I often meet friends there and spend the afternoon together with our kids.
A year's pass at the Calgary Zoo sounds great. If we stay in Calgary for a long time I'd like to get one.
