Daddy had a day off and we went to the sea near our apartment house. It was so warm (14degrees) and a lovely day today. It was the first time for Juliett to see the sea.
We wanted to have lunch at the beach but only a few moments after I opened my lunch box something attacked my food. I was so surprised I didn't know what had happened. My husband said that a hawk had swooped down and had tried to grab the fish off my lunch box! I was so scared but Juliett was ok. When we looked up there were 10-15 hawks, a few crows and a lot of pigeons circling so we grabbed all of the food and went back to eat in our car.
This handmade blanket is a gift from our great aunt in Canada. She must be a great knitter. It is wonderful and so colorful. Juliett will learn colors with this rainbow blanket. She is so happy to have lots of handmade blankets.
On the way home from the sea, I went to my favourite flower shop and bought a bunch of anemones.
I like anemones. After I found out that it's Calgary's official city flower, I like anemones even more.

Wow. Where were you in the picture with the stroller, Eriko?
Now I wrote the diary in English too, so you see what happened.
We live 15min drive from the sea. It is really nice to walk the sea side. We took Juliett there and show the sea yesterday.
What an adventure you had! You won't soon forget that day at the beach! That was very thoughtful to add the description in English, Eriko.
I enjoy so much seeing the pictures you post. Even if I can't read Japanese the pictures tell the story. Thanks!
