週末に主人の叔母家族みんなと、隣の州から遊びに来ていた別の叔母も一緒にピクニックの夕食をしました。恐竜の化石が良く採れるエリアにある大きな公園で。We went on a picnic with Col's Auntie K family and Auntie L on Sunday late afternoon.
着いて少し遊んで、さぁ食べるぞという時に雨にあってしまって、結局木の下でみんなで持ち寄った食事を取ったので、カメラは濡れないようにしまっていたので写真はほとんどなし。
でも、大きい木の下って雨が降っていてもなかなか濡れないんだ、と感心しました。こういう経験ってあんまりしてないから、木ってすごいもんだなぁと。
We had rain in the morning, but when we got together at the park it was clear, girls were playing volleyball and Uncle D and Col made fire, Juliett was picking berries and collecting pine nuts, and I was walking around taking photos.
But soon after we started eating, it started raining. So we ate supper under a big tree.
Actually, maybe it was the first experience for me to stand under a big tree in rain. It sounds a bit strange, but true. I was very surprised about that we didn't get wet at all.
あと、ついでに看板見ながら、cautionってuseと使うんだ。。と。勉強、勉強。
At the entrance of the park had this sign.
But luckily we didn't see any bears. We only saw these cute animals.
キーキー鳴いてしょっちゅう近寄ってきて、かなりアグレッシブなリス。ジャンプしてくるかと思った。
Cute, but this one was quite aggressive and noisy.
そして、叔母たちのかわいい犬たち。
Very cute, Juliett loves dogs, she had a really good time being with the Aunties' adorable dogs.
家族と久々にのんびり過ごせて主人はすごく楽しそうだったし、リラックスした感じでした。良かった。
私はそんな時間ずっと持ってないなぁ。
It was very nice to spend time with family, Col looked very relaxed and happy with his relatives.
I have missed the time a lot too.
