a lovely surprise

おとといからひどい風邪をひいてます。
ジュリがまたどこかで拾ってきて、彼女は週末に回復、そしてそれを私が。
（このパターン、クリスマスのインフルエンザの時と同じなのでとてもイヤです。）
I got a bad cold AGAIN.... :(
Julie brought it last weekend and she didn't feel good through the weekend, then she recovered but I got it.  That was the exact same pattern that we had before the Christmas holiday, we are hoping that Col won't get it. Their Spring break will start tomorrow afternoon.

今日も熱とひどい頭痛、そのほか風邪の症状もろもろで家で寝込んでいたら、昨日はジュリのお迎えまでしてくれた友達が、「新鮮なお花がお店に入っていたよ、これを見たら元気になるかなぁと思ってね！」と言いながら、花束をプレゼントしてくれました。
I have been in bed for whole 2 days with high fever, coughs, runny nose, and headache. My friend kindly offered to pick Julie up after school yesterday and I really appreciated it. But not only that very kind offer, today she knocked our door and when I opened the door, she was holding a big bunch of flowers, she got them for me to cheer me up. What a lovely surprise!

思いもしなかったプレゼントに、感動しました。私も彼女みたいに優しくなりたい。
お部屋に飾ったら、風邪菌いっぱいの暗い家がぽっと明るくなりました。私の心も。
The flowers are so pretty. Because the house keeper(me) is sick, our house is mess and dark, but big thanks to my friend, the flowers made our rooms bright, and also my feeling very happy.

さぁ、明日の午後から春休み。寝込んでなんていられない。

Well, I should become better, Spring should be just around the corner.
