It was colder than yesterday! -33℃!
I wondered if I blew bubbles outside, what would happen? and I tried it.
It was so interesting to see the bubbles froze so quickly and broke like glass.

When I saw the thermometer in the afternoon, it was reading -25℃ and I said "Oh! it's warmer! now".
Then I said to my self, "what have I just said? warmer?... No! It's still scary cold! -25℃!"
I think my sense of cold is already messed up.

Hi Eriko! It is nice to have a warmer day today! It was -11 when I drove the girls to school this morning. It is nice that we have changes in the temperature in Calgary. Trust me, where my parents live in Manitoba it is often very cold (-30) for weeks at a time. I looked at the forecast today and it is supposed to be warmer like today and snowing on Christmas Day! That would be nice! We'll see if it changes. I have never tried blowing bubbles when it is so cold. I will try it with the kids when the thermometer dips down again. Thanks for the idea! And thanks again for coming to hear the girls sing this past weekend. It was so good to see you.
Hi, Shannon.
Thank you very much for your comment.
It was really nice to see you all and girls' singing on Sunday.
Snowing on Christmas day sounds very exciting! Maybe it will be our first White Christmas.
It was much warmer today than yesterday. In my hometown,in Japan, we only get snowy day once a year or none, so I didn't know the differences between -30 and -15. But now I know!
See you soon!
Hi Eriko, that sounds like a fun experiment! Glad to see you are starting to see the warmth in a Canadian winter. I was out doing some last minute shopping today and thnking that the -19 was really quite nicer. It's all relative!
Oops, I've come across as anonymous. It's Auntie Crystal, I just can't remember my password!
Hi, Auntie Crissy! Thank you very much for your comments.
I heard that it will be a little warmer(-15 to -10) around Christmas in Calgary. How's your place?
Everyone says to me "this is unusual. this is not Calgary winter". I just believe it and enjoy our precious super cold experience this winter!
Do you work on the Christmas day or Christmas eve?
We wish you have a happy Christmas!
